APPLIED WELDING TECHNOLOGIES
Program Information:
  The Welding program at F.C.T.I. provides the student that completes the program with a Post Secondary Adult Vocational certificate. This will prepare the now skilled student to enter the workforce with well rounded abilities to perform on the job of choice. With the certifications offered at F.C.T.I. and the broad knowledge of most of the welding processes the student can leave with confidence.

  The student can be assured that F.C.T.I. has the most up to date welding equipment with the latest technologies like pulse on pulse, square wave and Surface Tension Transfer. Also the instructor is certified by the American Welding Society under the C.W.E. and C.W.I. certifications. The students are assured that the quality of training, highly qualified instructors and state of the art equipment will make them a success.

  First Coast Technical Institute is an accredited American Welding Society testing facility offering two levels of S.E.N.S.E. along with 12 different welder certification tests. Any of these certification will qualify the completer to enter the workforce highly skilled, in turn earning higher wages and opening the door for more opportunities.

  The program is a 1,170 contact hour program. Full time students can complete in four quinmesters and can move thru the program at their own rate allowing time to master the skill of welding. All of the materials, books and welding equipment are from Lincoln Electric. This is the latest information and equipment available in the welding industry.
